Peace - Paix
Feeling so far away, here in Canada from the recent attacks in the UK... helpless, sad and at the same time feeling some sense of indifference. There were attacks in Spain last yeat, now UK where next. This is quite sad, that innocent lives are being hurt, but for what reason? What is the motivation. At the same time as i do not respect these acts, i do not either respect the sense that we need to kill innocent people in another country that does not share the same believes as ours... is that not what some countries are doing in war? Not to mention any names, but I am sure that one of our southern neighbours is guilty of such crime. Fighting fire with fire only makes more fire... i just can't understand why the people of the world can not just speak, understand and love... is that not what humans do best, or i am just dreaming on cloud 9 still...

I hear you.
What's interesting is that we've been killing each other since the beginning of time it seems.
I think the problem is in the mirror. A lot of us want to impose our right on their wrong or our (new world) order on their chaos.
Even if one is right, the mere fact of imposing it is an act of violence. Violence begets violence.
You mentioned indiference, well you know what, I think indiference is much better than outrage or anger. We have enough anger in the world. It's time for peace and compassion. I will not fall for the trap of the new world order who wants be to get angry so I can feed their wars. Don't get me wrong, my eyes are wide open but I choose to enjoy my life and if I don't feel like seeing or looking at our village idiot :), I just turn off the TV or radio. It's that simple then my attention goes towards the trees and the wind which have by the way a much more interest message.

thanks for your comments. It is good to know that others share the same opinion in the world today. The root of so much conflict in the world today is out of religous or cultural beliefs... in fact it has always been the root of war.
I guess when things go wrong in the world, rather then focussing on them, we need to move on and make our personal differences in order to make the world a better place.
